January:

1ST – CLOSED

9th: Winter Wellness: Come learn which oils you should keep on hand for all of those pesky winter ailments  from dry skin to colds and flu.  We will go over how to use the oils, which oils to use and how to make products to get you through these last few winter months. We will create product in class to take home. 6pm – 8pm Cost: $30

15TH – CLOSED

 

18th: Winter Ache & Pains: In this class we will discuss how to soothe those tired achy muscles that tend to ache a little more when this cold weather hits. We will go over which oils are best to move lymph and keep you ache free all winter long. We will create product in class to take home. 6pm – 8pm Cost: $30

27th-28th : Clinical Aromatherapy Level 1- Intro to the aromatic world: This foundation level will introduce the basics of holistic aromatherapy; history; recent research; production of essential oils, general properties, quality and purity; basic methods of application; physical effects of essential oils and pathways through the body; and the safe and effective use of this modality. A 50 plus page notebook and 4 sample oils are also provided, as well as 1 hour free consultation time with a clinical aromatherapist on staff. 9am – 5pm both days. Cost: $315.00 14 CE hours

 

February:

10th: Valentine’s Day Make & Take Event: At this event you will have the opportunity to make several products so that you may put together a gift basket (Basket is included) for that special someone. Each product will have the choice to customize your scents and oils used. Products include: Massage blend, Personal lubricant, Bath salts & More! 10am-3pm Cost: $45

19th: Essential Oils & Sleep: In this 2 hour class we will discuss the wide array of sleep issues many of us face and learn which essential oils will help you overcome them. We will make a sleep spray pertaining to your individualized issue that you will take home that night. 6pm-8pm Cost: $20

 

March:

6th: Spring Forward with Energizing Oils: We are excited to go over oils that will give you a little pep in step and a boost of energy towards the end of the day. We all tend to lack energy and struggle with the time change, come learn how to combat that with essential oils. We will make product in class to take home. 6pm-8pm Cost: $30

10th & 11th: Clinical Aromatherapy Level 2- Its impact on the systems of the Body: Behold, a magnificent creation – the human body. We begin our search of how the body is designed and how it functions. We will learn of essential oils that impact the various systems and how they work. The taking of case histories and treatment planning will be introduced. Extensive handouts detailing essential oils that can be used for each body system and 4 sample essential oils are also provided. (Pre-requisite: Level 1)9am – 5pm both days. Cost: $315.00 14 CE hours

30TH – CLOSED

 

April:

7th: Cleaning with Essential Oils: In this 6 hour class Kimberly & Amber will go over why cleaning with essential oils is much safer than using commercial products. We will go over recipes and give you hands on experience making several products you can take home to use. We will make between 5-6 products. 10am-5pm Cost: $60

21st & 22nd:  Butters, Balms, Salves and Lotions: This class is designed for beginners and anyone who wishes to make their own body butters, lip balms, healing salves, creams and lotions. We will discuss and learn the therapeutic properties of the following carrier oils, butters and hydrosols. This will be a hands on class with 75% of our class time “in the kitchen” making products. Every student will take home each item we make, a $100 retail value. You will receive datasheets for each carrier oil and butter we will be using. These datasheets include the therapeutic properties and nutrient profiles along with some interesting facts. Recipes will also be included so you can go home and make more of your favorite products. These natural products are great for home use, make great gifts for friends and family or you can make extra income by offering them for sale. 26th: Release & Recharge: We will spend the 1st hour of this class going over which oils are best used to release the negative and things in your life that need to be let go, during the 2nd hour we will discuss which oils are then best used to recharge yourself and give yourself a reset. We will make product in class to take home. You will also receive a take home kit in this class. 6pm – 8pm Cost: $45

 

May:

 

5th & 6th: Clinical Aromatherapy Level 3- Mind, Mood, Emotions, Personality: This class will explore current research on mind/body connections and the impact our emotions have on our wellbeing. The tie between the olfactory system, the emotional, memory, and learning centers of the brain will be discussed as well as essential oils that can impact these. We will also explore the power of touch, and ancient and new methods of integrative healing. Lots of handouts and 4 sample essential oils too!  (Pre-requisite: Level 1) 9am – 5pm Both days. Cost: $315.00 14 CE hours

19th: First Aid & Travel Kits: In this class we will discuss which oils are best to create your own first aid and travel kits as well as go over how and when to use those oils. We will create some products in class for you to take home to get started on making those kits yourself! 10am-2pm Cost: $50

June:

11th & 12th: Clinical Aromatherapy Level 4- The Chemistry Of It All: In an age of medicine resistant viruses and the consequences of over/inappropriate use of synthetic medications, we will study some of Nature’s strongest, anti-septic, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal oils. What are essential oils made of? How do they work? What can be mixed together, what not, and why? How does one create the perfect blend for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance? These questions and more will be addressed in this level. We give you many handouts detailing the chemical components and classes of essential oils, as well as 4 more sample essential oils. (Pre-requisite: Level 1)  **Special Guest Teacher** Trey Anderson 9am-5pm both days Cost: $315.00 14 CE hours

6th & 7th: Clinical Aromatherapy Level 5- Strength, Length, Nature Of Use: Advanced Applications: There are numerous ways to use essential oils. The method, potency, frequency, and duration of use with specific health challenges, ages, and settings will be explored. Case study presentations will be reviewed. Also, during this hands-on class, we will have the opportunity to receive some of the caring we provide to others. A truly experiential class which includes handout and another set of 4 sample essential oils. (Pre-requisite: Level 1-4) 9am – 5pm both days. Cost: $315.00 14 CE hours

1st & 2nd: Clinical Aromatherapy Level 6- Deepening The Level Of Understanding & Professionalism: Now is the time to bring it all together. Where do we go from here? In this level we will recap and blend the information from the previous classes, share essential oil research, review final case studies, discuss the professional groups in this field and share the celebration of commencement –the act of beginning. (Pre-requisite: Levels 1-5) 9am – 5pm both days. Cost: $315.00 14 CE hours
